The 2023 River Duck Race held on August 19th was a great success despite the humid weather! We sold 254 duck tickets!! A big thank you to everyone who bought tickets in advance and who came out on Saturday to support WRIG. The field crew, WRIG directors and volunteers did an incredible job of greeting guests, selling tickets, setting up the route, sending the ducks down river, scooping them up at the finish line, and collecting them all afterwards. A special thank you to Mark Douglas for serenading the ducks with his tin whistle and to Jenn Gallé for dumping the ducks off the footbridge! This year’s winners were…
