The 2022 River Duck Race held on August 20th was a great success despite the hot weather! We sold 316 duck tickets!! A big thank you to everyone who bought tickets in advance and who came out on Saturday to support WRIG. The field crew, WRIG directors and volunteers did an incredible job of greeting guests, selling tickets, setting up the route, sending the ducks down river, scooping them up at the finish line, and collecting them all afterwards. A special thank you to Hailey who did not hesitate to jump into the pond to help the ducks move out of the stagnant area and rescue a few escapee ducks!! This year’s winners were…
